Two main mechanics in Fortnite are aiming and building. The former is necessary for eliminating enemies on the map — this way you can survive until the end of the game. Building, on the other hand, is needed for convenient survival and creating better fortifications or vantage points to shoot at enemies. Besides the main mechanics, the game features looting, jumping, sprinting, parkour, supershield, racing, flying, as well as minor mechanics like weapon switching, prone aiming, and others.
