In the latest changes to the ranked mode, Riot Games removed promotion/relegation matches between different divisions of the same tier. For example, the transition between Silver 2 and Silver 3 will be seamless. Also, in lower ranks (up to Emerald), the maximum LP change is now 25 instead of 28.
