The second Dota 2 Major of 2018-2019 was organized by Starladder and ImbaTV.

The venue was BLOOMAGE  Cultural and Sports Center at Chongqing, China. There were 16 teams participating in this major. The prize pool of the event was 1 million in US dollars. Moreover there would be 15000 pro circuit points, divided for the top 8 of the collectives. The tournament was in GSL Group Stage Format, which also had double elimination brackets. The major was being played on patch n.7.20. The winner of the event was Team Secret: they defeated Virtus Pro in the Grand finals, with the score of 3-1. As a result, they took home the 350,000 USD from the prize cash and 4950 DPC points.

Tournament Format

Qualifiers:

A series of open qualifiers will be held regionally to determine the teams joining the regional invites in the second qualifier stage. Each online qualifier will consist of a single elimination bracket.

Regional qualifiers will be held for NA, SA, EU, CIS, CN and SEA. Each qualifier will see eight teams split into two GSL-style groups of four with the top two teams advancing to qualifier playoffs. The playoffs are also GSL-style. Matches are Best-of-Three.

Group Stage is composed of Four groups consisting of four teams each, playing in a GSL-style best-of-three series.

The top two teams from each group will be seeded to the Upper Bracket of the Main Event, while the bottom two teams from each group will be placed in the Lower Bracket of the Main Event.

Playoffs will be played in Double-elimination bracket.

All games except Grand Finals and Lower Bracket Round 1 are best-of-three.

Lower Bracket Round 1 are best-of-one's.

Grand Finals is best-of-five.
