WePlay! Dota 2 Winter Madness is an online tournament featuring fourteen teams from Europe and CIS and all matches are played online.

The tournament kicks off with a group stage for ten of the teams. Four teams will be seeded straight to the playoffs in the quarter finals. The teams that make it out of the group will play a team from the opposite group in the round of twelve.

The winner of the tournament gets half of the $100,000 total prize pool.

Tournament Format

Group Stage

Two round robin groups with 5 teams in each.

All series are best-of-one.

Top four from each group moves on to the playoffs.

Playoffs

Single elimination bracket with four teams seeded into the quarter finals and the teams coming from the group stage gets seeded into the round of 12.

All series leading up to the final are best-of-three matches.

The final is a best-of-five series.
