ESL DOTA 2 is ready to make another wave this year, and excited to announce that The 2023 DreamLeague S19 is back starting on the 9th of April. ESL, the organizer of this tournament, chose and invited the best teams from around the world to be flown to Europe to compete for a megabucks prize pool and a chance to qualify directly for the group stage of the 2023 Riyadh Masters in Dubai.

Tournament Format

Group Stage 1 will be played in a single-elimination format, and all matches are played in the best-of-two series. The top four teams from each group will advance to group stage 2.

Group Stage 2 will also be played in a single-elimination format, and all matches are played in the best-of-three series. The top two teams from each group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs stage, while the 3rd and 4th place teams will proceed directly to the lower shelf.

Playoffs will be played in a double-elimination format, and all matches are played in the best-of-three series except for the best-of-five grand final.

The last team to conquer the grand final will qualify for the 2023 Riyadh Masters in Dubai.
