The China Dota2 Professional League is a new circuit featuring eight of the top chinese esports organizations competing against each other. Two teams from the China Dota2 Development League will be joining the eight pro teams to compete for a 1,500,000 CNY (~$ 211,250) prize pool.

Tournament Format

Group Stage:

The ten participating teams face off in a single round robin with Best-of-Three matches. The top four teams advance to the upper bracket side of playoffs, and the 5-6th placed teams to the lower bracket. The bottom four teams are eliminated.

Playoffs:

Double elimination bracket with Best-of-Three matches leading into a Best-of-Five grand finals.
