Asian Games is an international sporting event spanning multiple disciplines and is considered the second largest multi-sporting event, behind the Olympic Games. 

The National teams participating in the event has been selected by the 45 members of the Olympic Council of Asia.

Though the 2018 Asian Games will feature esports, they will be hosted as an Official Demonstration Sport. The entire Asian Games is held in Indonesia on two locations, namely Palembang and Jakarta with the latter being the location for the League of Legends event.
