The League of Legends Japan League is the premier tournament of Japan and this is the first season of 2019, the league will feature 6 teams as they compete for the Japanese MSI Play-in seed.

The teams competing in the league is the 4 top teams of the previous season as well as the two teams that wins their promotion series in the Promotion tournament.
