This is somewhat of an evolution of the DMZ mode, where players have to navigate their way out of the zone they are in. Gamers attempt to reach various objectives while the location fills with the undead. The longer the game lasts, the more issues arise for gamers who need to act quickly.

We also see a new wonder-weapon, Scorcher, in the trailer. It's capable of annihilating numerous zombies. Also, the weapon possesses a special secondary fire, which can project the character into the air for rapid movement across the map.
The progression system also has some variations. In the “Zombie” mode, in a "scavenger" style, players can preserve the weapons and equipment that they managed to "scavenge" previously. These items can represent especially useful and powerful weaponry. Various blueprints and opportunities to obtain other weapons can also be found on the map.

In the "Zombie" mode, enemies will be not only the undead but also other horrific creatures. All of this will be available on the first day of CoD: Modern Warfare 3’s release on PC and consoles on November 10.
