In recent years, several streaming platforms have attempted to dethrone Twitch as the king of live streaming. While the purple platform's community has expressed dissatisfaction with some of its decisions (such as the removal of the iconic BibleThump emote), a new contender is trying to attract interest by offering money not only to streamers but also to regular viewers.

The streaming platform Kick is preparing to introduce a new way to motivate them to stay on the platform. According to content creator Adin Ross, the service will feature a currency that streamers can use to reward viewers, and viewers, in turn, will be able to convert it into real money.

According to Ross, this currency will function similarly to Bits, which can be cashed out. However, it’s important to note that not everyone will be paid for watching, but streamers will have the ability to grant this currency to their viewers, who can then withdraw it.

While Bits are used by viewers to reward streamers, the idea of applying a reverse Uno card to this mechanic might be interesting. However, currently this doesn't look like a game changer feature, but only time will tell it.
