Natus Vincere - CS2 Team

Natus Vincere esports organization was founded in 2009. At the start it had only a Counter Strike roster, with talented players like Zeus, Starix, Markeloff, Edward and Ceh9. NAVI’s success transitioned from the Counter Strike scene to CS:GO, but this time with new players. Eventually, they lifted the trophy at StarLadder StarSeries IX, going on in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Many years late, in 2016 the team signed Oleksandr “S1mple” Kostyliev. The young AWPer brought with him a great confidence and took the ESL One New York title, where he also earned his first MVP award. This was the beginning of a new era for the team.

NAVI’s CS:GO roster went into numerous changes since then, and eventually became arguably the most decorated team in the history of the game. In 2020 the roster was dominant despite the unstable era for esports, when the pandemic kicked in. But the most perfect run of the team was recorded in 2021. Unfortunately, the expected NAVI era did not continue with the start of 2022: political conflicts, the removal of the IGL and other factors made it hard to stay on top of their game, but eventually the roster managed to win the 2022 BLAST Premier Spring Finals.
