BLAST Premier 2022 Spring Groups was a CS:GO tournament, held by BLAST and sponsored by Betway, CS.MONEY, L33T Gaming and EPOS. The tournament took place online for EU region’s 12 teams. The latter competed for a total of $177,500 Prize pool. The starting date of the event was January 28, 2022. It concluded on February 6th, 2022. The first 3 placements would get $27,500 as well as 2400 BLAST Premier points each. Team Vitality were crowned the champions of the event, while OG and FaZe Clan took 2nd and 3rd spots respectively. The format of the tournament was:

  • Group Stage:

    • Three double-elimination (GSL) format groups

      • Each group has 4 teams

      • All matches are Bo1

    • All teams advanced to the seeded Play-In Stage

  • Play-In Stage:

    • Three Single-Elimination gauntlets

      • All matches are Bo3

    • Winner from each gauntlet advances to the Spring Finals.

    • Second and third teams from each gauntlet advance to the Last Chance Stage.

Last Chance Stage:

  • Single-Elimination bracket

  • All matches are Bo3

  • Winners advance to the Spring Finals

  • Losers proceed to the Spring EU and AME Showdowns.
