2017 League of Legends Professional League Summer is the first half of the 2018 season of LPL, there is a lot of new teams competing in this season. In addition to all of the new franchises in the LPL the English cast will now be broadcasting on sight in the studios in China.

The spring split of 2018 is divided into two stages. A regular season that seeds into the playoffs at the end. The winner of the playoffs will be representing China in the Mid Season Invitational, which is to be held inbetween the Spring and Summer splits of 2018.

The league boasts a ¥3,500,000 (CNY) total prize pool and will be played across China as different teams will be based in different provinces and the Playoffs will be played in Shanghai.
