VCS spring 2022 is a Vietnamese championship series in the League of Legends Regional Championship. It took place online for the group stage while the playoffs featured a LAN event at  GG Stadium.

There are eight participating teams as well as $52,000 in prize pool. The organizers were RIOT Games and Garena Vietnam. The event took place from February 11th to April 24th.

The format was divided in two phases. The first stage with the group plays ended on April 13th. Playoffs started from April 16th and concluded on 24th.The group stage was double elimination round robin with all matches in best-of- 3 series. The playoffs were single elimination and all matches were best-of-five series.

The tournament’s peak viewers were 105,000 people. The average viewers count stayed at 19,765. 

The winner of the tournament was GAM Esports who took home $17,400 prize cash and qualified for MSI 2022. The runner-up Saigon Buffalo also qualified for MSI.
