The Esports World Cup 2025 is a premier offline Tier 1 global esports tournament set to take place from May to July 2025, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Organized by the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) and ESL FACEIT Group, this multi-title event is part of the prestigious Esports World Cup series, originally launched in late 2023 as an expansion of Gamers8. Among the headline titles, Valorant takes center stage as the culmination of the ESL FACEIT GROUP, bringing together 16 of the world’s elite teams. These top contenders will be competing for a generous $1,250,000 prize pool, raising the stakes for one of the most anticipated events on the competitive Valorant tournament and also features a Club Competition, where leading esports organizations vie for dominance across multiple titles.

Tournament Format

Qualifiers are composed of two stages in a double-elimination format, and all matches are played in the best-of-three series.

Group Stage will be played in a four double-elimination (GSL) format. Opening matches are best-of-one, and the following matches are best-of-three series.

Lastly, Playoffs will be played in a single-elimination format, and all matches are played in the best-of-three series except for the grand final which is best-of-five.
