Six Invitational 2025 format

No changes compared to 2024. However, for those who weren't following SI 2024, it might look confusing. So let's explain. There will be two phases: group stage and double elimination playoff. 

First, all squads are split into four groups, and they play round-robin. Every match is important, because not only it is about surviving, but also about getting a better seed in the playoffs. 

  • The best four squads will enjoy the best possible start in the upper bracket, as they also skip one round of playoffs. They are guaranteed at least 9-12th place.
  • Number two and three will also land in the upper bracket. This means they have the privilege of losing one match and not being eliminated. However, their starting point is round 1.
  • Number fours are still in the tournament, but their situation is not very good. Such teams start the playoffs in the lower bracket. This means that every match might be their last, and they are in a must win situation.
  • The fifth position means you're out, and thanks for participating.

Six Invitational 2025 prize distribution

It might seem quite brutal. Fourteen teams will leave SI 2025 with nothing but experience. The upside is that the champions earn a hefty sum.

  • 1st place - $1,000,000
  • 2nd place - $450 000
  • 3rd place - $240 000
  • 4th place - $170 000
  • 5th/6th place - $135 000 each

Six Invitational 2025 will be broadcasted on both Twitch and Youtube.
