The new map, titled "Urzikstan", encompasses 11 points of interest as well as a plethora of smaller zones. The studio describes the map as having "Middle Eastern and Eastern European" aesthetics and design.

Notable points of interest on the new map include:

• Levin Resort;

• Popov Power Station;

• Orlov Military Base;

• Seaport District;

• Freight Urzikstan;

• Old Town;

• Lower Town;

• Hadika Farms;

• Zaravan City;

• Zaravan Suburbs;

• Shahin Estate.

According to the storyline, Urzikstan has recently escaped the control of dictator Roman Barkov thanks to a joint operation by the CIA, SAS, and Urzikstan Liberation Force, led by Farah Karim.

The map will replace Al-Mazru simultaneously with the launch of the first season of Modern Warfare 3. The Urzikstan territory will also host events of the zombie mode. More detailed information about the new map will be revealed in December.
