With big events come big problems. The beginning of the Mafiathon 2 was quite a dangerous sight, because Kai Cenat was swatted, with police entering his home armed, while a helicopter monitored the perimeter.
Kai quickly realized what was happening and informed his chat, choosing not to stop the stream. Viewers saw the helicopter circling above the house, and several armed officers entered the room where his computer and webcam were set up. The officers conducted a thorough search of all rooms before leaving.
Immediately after the incident, Twitch suspended Kai Cenat’s channel, though the ban was brief — within ten minutes, he was able to resume streaming. This wasn’t the first time Cenat was swatted; someone had already made a false police report to his home during a stream in November 2022.
Kai Cenat hosts a subathon to overcome Ironmouse as the most subbed Twitch streamer. Currently he has more than 171 000 subscribers, while the goal is 326 252. Kai Cenat promised to spend 20% of his revenue on charity: he will use this money to build school in Nigeria.
