Kanye West is back in the spotlight, and this time he’s calling out Twitch star Kai Cenat for allegedly stealing his viral stream concept.

In April 2025, Ye accused Kai of “taking his swag,” claiming the streamer’s seven-day ‘jail’ marathon was inspired by West’s own 2021 ‘Donda’ livestream, where the rapper lived inside Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium while working on his album.

Kai’s stream, which featured stars like Offset, NLE Choppa, Druski, and Chrisean Rock, quickly became one of the most iconic events in Twitch history. But Ye says he did it first — streaming himself 24/7 while sleeping, creating music, and hanging out with friends during the Donda era.

In a recent livestream clip now going viral, Kanye ranted about being the “originator” of the immersive stream trend. Reactions have been mixed: some fans say Ye’s being dramatic, while others agree Kai isn’t exactly known for coming up with ideas from scratch.

This moment follows another wild stream from Kanye, where he abruptly ended the show after fans criticized his camera quality — proving once again that Ye + livestreams = chaos.
