Valkyrae and Lisa (aka Alythuh) just ended their Press ESC podcast after 24 episodes—even though the show was pulling in solid views, sometimes even hitting millions. Turns out, it wasn’t about the numbers. Rae said it was just a business move.

This podcast was their chill side project, something new. They had a fun vibe going—sometimes just the two of them talking, sometimes bringing on popular guests (for example, Jacksepticeye).

But after skipping a weekly episode fans started wondering what was up. Today, they dropped one final episode to say goodbye. Both of them admitted they just didn’t have the time anymore. It takes too much commitment to be a chill hobby, and they couldn't fit it among other business projects.

Lisa also wanted more duo-only episodes to build their chemistry, while Rae loved bringing in guests. With their schedules pulling them in different directions, they decided to call it for now.

Rae said the show’s on “indefinite hiatus,” and it wouldn’t feel right without Lisa. But hey, she didn’t say it’s over forever—so who knows? Maybe Press ESC will be back one day.
