TSM - LoL Team

Team SoloMid League of Legends department opened in 2011, 2 years after the esports org was founded by Andy “Reginald” Dinh. Since 2012 the League of Legends team has been a part of NA’s top league LCS. The first important tournament for the newly created team was the Season 1 World Championship, where they took the 3rd spot. 

In 2012 the roster attended IEM Season VI, this time placing 2nd after the finals against Moscow Five. MLG Pro Circuit of the same year brought the ultimate success, placing the team above all the participants. Notable achievements in 2013 were the LCS Spring and Summer Splits, where they placed 1st and 2nd respectively. The same thing happened in 2014 and 2015.

In 2016 the LoL team had its biggest prize pool share they ever had prior to the World Championship, where they took $114,075 home. However, they did not advance from the group stage.

2017 was more fruitful, with top 1 placements in NA LCS Summer and Spring 2017, as well as Rift Rivals 2017: NA vs EU.

2018-2019 were poor title-wise for TSM, but finishing first in LCS Summer 2020 secured them a $100,000 prize. 

Team SoloMid’s performance was not on top throughout 2021 either, so the best result was placing 3rd at LCS Spring 2021.
