The Chennai Esports Global Championship is backed by the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu and organised in collaboration with Skyesports, marking one of the first major state‑government‑led global esports tournaments in India. It takes place in Chennai at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in November 2025. The CS2 event boasts a 49,000 prize pool and counts toward the Valve Regional Standings, with teams from India, Southeast Asia and Europe competing via regional qualifiers.

Tournament Format

The Group Stage consists of two Round-Robin format groups, with each group comprised of three teams. All the matches will be best-of-three, and the winner of each group will advance to the Grand Final. The group runners-up will proceed to the Third Place Decider match.

The Third Place Decider will be best-of-one, and the Grand Final will be best-of-three. Both will be played under the Single-Elimination format.
