Dota2 Professional League (or DPL) is a Chinese Dota league organized by the Sports Information Center of National Sports General Administration, MarsTV and Perfect World.

The fourth season of DPL will feature the top seven of the teams from season 3 and an additional two teams from the relegation.
In addition, there will be a lower tier of the tournament where teams that did not make the cut compete for a spot in season 5.

Tournament Format

Regular Season

Best-of-two round robin with the top six proceeding to playoffs.

The playoffs will feature a phase 1 bracket and a phase 2 brackets which will be played out in double elimination manor with best-of-three matches.
