Tencent is organizing another Demacia Cup during the 2017 season, squeezing it in right at the end of the year with the teams competing offline in Qingdao, China.

In Demacia Cup fashion the tournament will host a large pool of teams that will be trimmed down come playoffs through a large group stage with a gauntlet format. As the 28 of the 29  participating teams become eight. The playoffs will be played out in a single elimination bracket.

The Demacia Cup Championship is similar to the regular Demacia Cup as it features teams from both LSPL and LPL in a domestic cup, the winner of the NEST 2017 tournament will be seeded directly into the playoffs.

Single elimination gauntlet style bracket with all series being best-of-three.

One team from each group qualfies.

Playoffs

Double Elimination bracket.

Best-of-three matches up until the final.

Final is a best-of-five.
