2019 Overwatch League (OWL:2019) was the official Overwatch tournament held by Blizzard Entertainment in Los Angeles and Philadelphia. The offline event’s venue was Blizzard Arena Los Angeles. It featured 20 participating teams and a prize pool of 5,000,000 USD. The dates of the event were from 2019-02-14 to 20198-09-29.
The tournament was divided into 3 stages:
Regular Season;
Postseason (Playoffs);
All-Star.
The winner of the event were San Francisco Shock, defeating Vancouver Titans in a 4:0 score in the grand finals. SFS took home 3,500,000 USD. The viewership statistics from Esports Charts show that the Grand Finals had 1.55 million viewers on Twitch, while on YouTube the number peaked at 180,000.

Regular Season
The regular season is a round robin format group stage split into four stages however all the points scored in the round robin combined throughout all of the stages will count towards the final standings of the season.
Each stage has a final where the top 3 teams will play for the lions share of $125,000.
All series in the regular season are 4 match sets.

The season playoffs consist of a single elimination bracket. The rounds consist of Best-of-Three series (A max of three series played) that are all Best-of-Five.
