Eko Software and NACON have launched a demo and shared a comprehensive roadmap for the early access journey of their action-packed RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished The early access version will include the prologue and first chapter, offering players the chance to explore the game's story through three unique heroes: the Knight, the Oracle, and the Barbarian. It will also feature four Vermplings—cooperative companions who fight alongside players—and the innovative Bloodline Grid skill progression system, endgame hunting quests, and initial upgrades for the central hub city. The demo is live now until March 3, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest.

The development team has outlined ambitious plans for the year ahead. Spring updates will deliver new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a fresh endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer updates will introduce a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. By autumn, the game will implement multiplayer support, alongside ongoing refinements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city mechanics.

In Dragonkin: The Banished players delve into a world corrupted by ancient dragon blood, guiding a legendary warrior on a quest to vanquish sinister creatures emerging from the ground and confront the all-powerful Dragonlords orchestrating the turmoil. Character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution drive progression, while the strategic Bloodline Grid system allows players to customize their abilities.

Dragonkin: The Banished launches in Steam Early Access on March 6, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
