Horror fans have some exciting news - Steam now offers the updated collection featuring remastered versions of the cult classic DreadOut and its expansion Keepers of the Dark. Let us remind you that this bundle was already released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch consoles back on January 16.

The first game puts players in the shoes of Linda - an ordinary schoolgirl who unexpectedly finds herself in an abandoned town teeming with paranormal phenomena. Armed only with a smartphone featuring a unique mirror camera, the protagonist must not only survive among supernatural entities but also uncover the terrifying secrets of this cursed place.

Keepers of the Dark offers a separate adventure where Linda enters the mysterious Mirror Realm - a dwelling place of dark spirits. Players face a dangerous quest to find the path to salvation, where deadly traps and over a dozen unique ghostly creatures lurk at every turn. A distinctive feature of the game is its choice system - every decision the player makes irreversibly alters the fate of the main heroine.

In DreadOut 3, Linda will once again immerse herself in Asian-Indonesian urban legends. She must venture through an interdimensional rabbit hole to uncover the source of an invisible force threatening the balance between light and darkness.

The third installment is scheduled for release in 2026.
