Supergiant Games conducted a live stream dedicated to the technical test of Hades II. The recording of the gameplay session with developer commentary has been posted on YouTube.

During the stream, the developers of Hades II showcased several runs, demonstrating various abilities and enhancements. The developers also revealed story dialogues with characters, some of whom are familiar to fans of the first game in the series. Additionally, the creators cautioned participants of the upcoming testing that the game's beta version will include placeholders and temporary materials that will change by the release.

Earlier this week, Supergiant Games announced the technical test of Hades II. Some of the players had already received invitations and started to download the game. The first Hades was released in 2020, and the game received overwhelmingly positive reviews. It was nominated for the Game of the Year at The Game Awards and won different awards, including Hugo, Nebula and D.I.C.E.
