Rebel Wolves has released fresh insights into the world of their debut RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker. In the 14th installment of "The Secret History of Vale Sangora," an elder from the Romanian village of Laslea, Zdislav, shares chilling tales with scholar Albertus Taurinus. Among his stories are eerie accounts of ruins inhabited by undead soldiers.

"Zdislav, wrapped in sheepskin, told tales by the dying embers of the fire ā stories of ancient warriors draped in gold and feathers battling ghosts atop moonlit peaks, of forest creatures with cat-like eyes and sharp teeth, and of blood-soaked ruins. He spoke also of horned beasts and giant lizards lurking in the swamps, while Albertus recorded his words, captivated by the old man's raspy voice."
These dark tales are complemented by concept art showing warriors clad in gold and feathers, guarding the ancient ruins. The Sangora Valley is buried beneath landslides and swamps, hiding stone temples and crypts adorned with mysterious drawings. These places are guarded by undead warriors with rusted blades, who need no sustenance to survive.
Zdislav's stories suggest that players will encounter more than just vampires in this world. The presence of the undead and other supernatural beings adds depth to the gameās growing bestiary, drawing heavily from mythology, folklore, and gothic horror. Each new entry in "The Secret History" builds the lore, further igniting the curiosity of players.
