HoYoverse's Zenless Zone Zero continues to conquer the mobile market. With the release of the version 1.4 update, called “And the Starfall came,” the project reached a record of $8.6 million in daily player spending on mobile devices alone. The previous high was recorded at the game's July 2024 release.

Zenless Zone Zero's total revenue on mobile devices has already surpassed $265 million, according to AppMagic. Update 1.4 brought not only new agents such as Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, but also improvements to game mechanics, new locations and modes, prompting players to spend more.

With Harumasa available for free to all players as part of the promotion, a banner featuring Hoshimi Miyabi played a key role in Zenless Zone Zero's record revenue.

With the 1.4 update, HoYoverse was able to hold audience interest longer than usual. Usually player spending drops off a week after the release of updates, but this time revenues exceeded $1 million per day for more than 11 days in a row, and $500,000 even after two weeks.

Despite its success, Zenless Zone Zero can't yet approach the levels of flagships HoYoverse, Genshin Impact, and Honkai: Star Rail.
