HoYoverse continues to build hype for their upcoming agent Trigger, set to release soon.

A new teaser reveals the backstory of this character: the squad Trigger operated with on combat missions, and one particular operation where she allegedly lost all her teammates. "Allegedly", because Trigger remains convinced her friends are still alive, though no witnesses remain except for a sniper. This could be part of the agent's tragic past—or perhaps a hint that some of these teammates might reappear in the future storyline. Most importantly, the teaser explains how Trigger lost her eyesight.

Trigger, her personal story, new events, challenges, and rewards will arrive with the upcoming update on April 2.
