May 4 is a special day for the Star Wars fans across the globe. This iconic franchise left a massive legacy in all the pop culture, so it is unsurprising that Epic Games is hosting a special event in Fortnite to celebrate this iconic space opera.

The event launches today and will cover Fortnite Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival — basically all most popular modes.

The event will last from May 3 to May 12 with lots of new content coming to the players. Epic Games has already teased the arrival of Chewbacca and his Bowcaster. In Battle Royale, he will have an extra objective: after his successful rescue from the special roadblock, Chewy gives you his iconic weapon as a present.

Also, one of the iconic Star Wars tunes, Cantina Band, will be one of the main features of the event and you'll be able to play it in the Mos Eisley setting during Fortnite Festival.

We're not talking about lots of outfits and skins as they seem to be defaultish in 2024 — come on, it's Fortnite, they always do such things! So if you're into the Star Wars, it is best moment to have fun in the Epic game
