Warner Bros. has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated "Minecraft Movie 2" is set to begin production soon, along with the much-expected "Beetlejuice 3." According to studio heads Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy, contracts are almost finalized, and work on these successful film franchises will commence shortly.

Director Jared Hess also revealed that discussions about a follow-up movie are already in progress. He mentioned that the world of Minecraft is vast and rich in possibilities, and the first film could not cover all of them. Hess is excited about the prospect of returning to the pixelated world with new characters and stories to explore.

Additionally, Warner Bros. has announced several other exciting projects, including a remake of the classic movie "The Bodyguard," a new "Gremlins" movie, and another chapter in the "Home Alone" franchise. The studio is also expanding its animation division to keep up with the increasing demand for family-oriented content.
