Even though data miners uncovered a ton of details weeks ago, Blizzard finally gave fans a real look at the upcoming Overwatch 2 x Mobile Suit Gundam Wing crossover. In a brand-new trailer, they officially showed off four amazing skins inspired by the classic anime.

Here’s who’s getting a Gundam makeover:

  • Soldier: 76 will rock a Tallgeese armor set
  • Mercy gets a Wing Zero inspired design
  • Ramattra transforms with an Epyon style
  • Reaper takes on the deadly Deathscythe look

The event kicks off on April 29, giving players a chance to grab these unique, mech-themed outfits. The crossover also happens just after Gundam Wing celebrated its 30th anniversary — the anime first aired back in 1995 in Japan and became one of the most iconic parts of the massive Gundam franchise. As for Gundam itself, you may argue that it should be on the Mount Rushmore of the most influential anime of all time.

This collaboration brings together two fan-favorite universes, blending the futuristic battlefields of Overwatch with the legendary world of Gundam in a huge way.
