Yesterday, during her subathon, Ironmouse broke the Twitch record for the highest number of active subscribers. At the time of writing, the VTuber had over 323,000 paid subscribers, a remarkable achievement that caught the attention of previous record holders.

Ludwig congratulated Ironmouse yesterday when she surpassed him, calling her a great  streamer with one of the best stories on the platform. (Ironmouse has a serious immune disorder, which she has been battling for a long time, and she brings significant awareness to the condition.) 

Kai Cenat commented after a Little Basketball Association game, also congratulating Ironmouse on the achievement, but he made it clear he wouldn’t give up easily and hinted that he would attempt to reclaim the record. It’s likely that Kai Cenat will hold his own subathon, although there are no specific details about it yet. Watch from 26:34.

Ironmouse's subathon is still ongoing, with around 200 hours of streaming left, and half of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
