Valorant's professional scene had quite a busy week, as Kickoff tournaments in three regions have come to an end. We know the names of all eight Valorant Masters Bangkok participants, as well as format and even initial seeding.

The format of the tournament is not very hard to understand, although it has a bit of spiciness in it. Eight teams will play in a Swiss stage. Two wins - you're in the playoffs, two losses mean you're out. In round 1 we will have Champions of Kickoff competition facing off the runner-ups of other regions. Round 1 pairings are as follow:

  • G2 Esports vs. Trace Esports
  • EDward Gaming vs. Team Liquid
  • Team Vitality vs. T1
  • DRX vs. Sentinels

After only four teams left, we will be moving to the Double Elimination playoff bracket. Those who get into this stage will receive VCT points that will help in qualifying for the Champions tournament. Beside VCT points $500 000 is on the line with the champion claiming half of that sum. The tournament starts on February 20, while the best team will lift the trophy on March 2.
