Riot Games has revealed the top teams in each region whose bundles are most frequently purchased by Valorant players. The lists for each major region were published on X (ex-Twitter).

This list is arguably the best way to estimate support from fans. Of course, we can talk about social media following or how many people watch different matches. However, for bundles fans pay money and esports as an industry has some issues with generating income. You may have millions of followers on different social media platforms, but if they bring only a few cents each, how does it make business model sustainable? By making separate lists for each region, Riot takes different economic situations into account, and that makes local support even more valuable.

If we have a look at the VALORANT Champions participants list, we'll see that only four teams are not in the top-5 of their respective reasons. In the Pacific, Talon is not that popular. However, the most surprising dynamic is in MENA. Fnatic is number one, but the other three teams don't have big bundle sales. This is a phenomenon worth studying.

All teams competing in the franchised leagues within the Valorant Champions Tour received their own bundles. Each bundle includes a weapon skin, a unique charm, a graffiti, and a player card. Half of the revenue generated from the sale of these skins goes directly to the teams. The 2024 bundles will be removed from sale on September 12th.
