Things got out of hand at the Valorant Challenger France this week. The event, which mostly was held online, went offline for Seeding Matches at the Arènes d'Évry-Courcouronnes. Four matches were planned, but the DVM vs. Joblife game was canceled after a fight broke out in the stands.
According to people there, DVM fans — some even masked — started throwing punches after some trash talk with Joblife supporters. The situation got so bad that police had to step in.
DVM’s founders went live on Twitch to deny any real involvement, saying they didn’t plan anything and that they fully condemned the chaos. But by the next morning, it was official — DVM was banned for the rest of the split.

Riot Games backed the decision, and the league's organizers said the violence made it impossible to keep them in the competition. They’re working with the police and might take legal action.
Esports has seen rivalries before, but nothing like this. And everyone agrees: this kind of violence doesn’t belong anywhere near the scene.
