VALORANT’s competitive scene just made history. On April 23, BBL Esports and FUT Esports battled through the longest map ever played at the Tier-1 level. The match took place during the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025: EMEA Stage 1, and it took a staggering 48 rounds to decide a winner on Ascent. Led by Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen, BBL didn’t stop there—they closed out the series with a 13–11 win on Icebox, taking the match 2–0. With this victory, BBL secured their fourth win of the tournament and claimed the top spot in Group Omega.
The Champions Tour 2025: EMEA Stage 1 is currently being held in Berlin at the Riot Games Arena, running from March 26 to May 19. Teams are not only chasing a $250,000 prize pool but also one of three coveted slots at VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025. With games like this, it's clear the stakes—and the intensity—are higher than ever.
