We know that esports isn’t just limited to PC or gaming consoles: Mobile Legends Bang Bang with its ecosystem shows that great competitions can also take place on smartphones.

However, Candy Crush isn’t typically viewed as an esports game. Nevertheless, a tournament for it is already underway, with a prize pool twice as large as last year’s Overwatch 2 World Championship.

The Candy Crush All Stars tournament will reward the best of the best with one million dollars. The tournament has already started, but you still have a few days to qualify for the next stage. The requirements to participate are:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have an account level of 5 or higher
  • Be a citizen of one of the 23 eligible countries.

The tournament has three stages: the first, an open stage, is already in full swing and will run until March 27. Here, you’ll need to successfully complete increasingly difficult challenges. If you’re really good, you’ll move on to the Knockout Round starting on March 27. The top ten players will meet in person from June 11-13 in Los Angeles, and the champion will receive the fantastic prize of one million dollars.
