The miHoYo studio has released an incredibly stylish clip delving into Vlad's past and present.

Those who have already completed the latest ZZZ story patch can revisit familiar events through this beautifully crafted trailer. The video depicts how Vlad's own mother sold him to an aristocratic family where the other children despised him—except for one girl. The family patriarch encouraged ruthless competition among his children, forcing them to literally kill each other to become the primary heir. Ultimately, Vlad was compelled to eliminate the only girl who had shown him kindness.

Later, Hugo crossed paths with Uncle Jack and Lycaon, but this too ended in disillusionment after he overheard a conversation between the old man and his new friend.

Finally—the trailer showcases Vlad's climactic confrontation with his dark side, which players also witnessed firsthand in the game.

Hugo is a new S-rank Attack agent with Ice elemental abilities. The second half of Version 1.7, featuring Vlad's banner and various rewards, begins soon—on May 14.
