Blizzard and NetEase, who parted ways in November 2022 due to a failed deal, have officially announced a new agreement. The companies will resume offering Blizzard's services in China this summer. The day before, Chinese media reported that an official announcement about the renewal of the contract was imminent, and the predictions came true just a day later. The contract includes Blizzard, MS Gaming, and NetEase Games.

Fan-favorites like World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo and StarCraft are set to take the Chinese gaming scene by storm once again. With a 15-year history of successful cooperation, Blizzard and NetEase are pulling out all the stops to ensure a seamless return to service for their dedicated player base.

But the excitement doesn't stop there MS Gaming and NetEase are also hatching plans to bring fresh NetEase titles to Xbox consoles and other platforms, opening up a world of possibilities for gamers.

In a heartfelt message to fans, Blizzard's president expressed the company's deep gratitude for the Chinese community's unwavering enthusiasm for their games.
