Fortnite's collaboration with popular games characters might be in the works

For this Halloween, Epic Games is preparing a grand celebration in Fortnite with the appearances of Alan Wake, Jack Skellington, Michael Myers, and an in-game event. However, this is far from all that the developers have prepared for their fans.

The studio is beginning to prepare for the next series of collaborations, cautiously gauging players' interests. Future updates for Fortnite may bring Sonic the Hedgehog, characters from Five Nights At Freddy's, Fallout, and other franchises into the game.

Epic Games hints at the appearance of Sonic in Fortnite. The company sent out a survey to select players, in which the developers ask about the latest games they played or shows they watched. The list included a vast number of recent blockbusters and game hits, among which were listed Forza Motorsport, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and Resident Evil.

What sparked the most interest among battle royale fans were the mentions of Five Nights at Freddy's, Fallout, LoL, Sonic the Hedgehog, and some anime titles. As players note, developers regularly send them such lists, and they usually don't change much. However, these particular mentions appeared there for the first time. Collaborations in Fortnite with these projects might happen this winter or early next year.
