Among the big projects of 2025, Elden Ring: Nightreign hasn’t made as much noise yet, but soulslike fans are already discussing the new Ironeye trailer, which showcases an archer who isn’t afraid to incorporate parkour into combat. Developers have revealed his gameplay for the first time, as he was not available during the network test.
In the trailer, the character charges a shot that pierces multiple enemies at once, then follows up with an energy wave. Additionally, he can manually aim and attack at close range, stabbing enemies in the back with arrows.
What really stands out, though, is Ironeye’s ability to shoot mid-air. Bouncing off walls and firing multiple arrows in flight not only looks incredibly cool but also adds a new layer of mobility to ranged combat.
People in the comments are saying that FromSoftware has finally made a good archer in their games. Some also note that his versatility could make him great as a support/healer in co-op play.
The game is set to release at the end of next month, specifically on May 30.
