Bandai Namco just dropped a new trailer for Elden Ring: Nightreign, and this time the spotlight’s on a new playable character — the Raider. Now it’s this brutal warrior’s turn to shine.

The Raider looks like he walked straight out of a Viking saga. He wears the skull of some horned beast like a trophy, and his outfit screams "battle-hardened legend." He fights with heavy weapons, smashing enemies to the ground before finishing them off in the most savage way possible.

Gameplay-wise, the Raider seems like a tank — able to soak up massive hits, even taking a full-on strike from a dragon in the trailer. Oh, and he’s got a taste for booze too, living up to that wild Viking vibe.

Elden Ring: Nightreign is coming May 30 to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Yet, the success of the game is not guaranteed, as hardcore soulslike fans are not sure about the cooperative part of the game and worried that it might simply be a cash grab.
