Emails verifying participation in the closed testing of Elden Ring Nightreign, scheduled for February 14–17, 2025, have begun to be sent out by Bandai Namco. Players will be among the first to participate in the game, which is intended for a three-person cooperative mode, according to the letter.

Due to Nightreign's immense popularity, scammers are spreading fake testing invitations. Some players report that they have received letters stylized as official notifications from Bandai Namco, which supposedly contain an invitation to participate in testing. The emails contain links to fake sites similar to Steam.

Scammers offer to log in to these resources, after which players lose access to their accounts. In some cases, they receive similar messages from their own friends. Some victims managed to get their accounts back after contacting Steam support.

It is important to be very careful with links and always check the authenticity of the sources. In case of doubt, it is better to refer to official channels and do not follow dubious links.

Players will no longer be able to leave a message in FromSoftware games in Elden Ring: Nightreign. In an interview, project director Junya Ishizaki gave an explanation of the choice. Elden Ring: Players won't have time to leave or check their messages during the approximately forty-minute-long Nightreign gaming sessions.

Since there isn't enough time for sending or reading messages during sessions, which last roughly forty minutes, we disabled the messaging feature.
