The next update is just around the corner, so the developers are, as always, starting to prepare players in advance. In a new video, HoYoverse revealed the story of Vivian โ€” one of the upcoming Agents.

Since childhood, the girl possessed a unique gift (or curse?) โ€” she could see the future, which was usually tragic. This caused Vivian to shed tears, and soon, those around her began to consider it an omen of misfortune: if the girl cried, trouble was coming. Because of this, people avoided Vivian and drove her away. However, she grew up and overcame all hardships. Now, Vivian lives as a fanatical worshipper of the Proxies, utterly obsessed with them.

The new Agent belongs to the Mockingbird faction and is an Anomaly character with the Ether attribute. During one of the previous developer streams, a team composition featuring Vivian, Yanagi, and Astra was showcased.

Alongside Vivian, the upcoming Version 1.7 will introduce Hugo, as well as reruns of the Jane and Lighter banners. There will also be reruns of previous events and new rewards. The update releases on April 23, 2025, and will be the final one before Zenless Zone Zero's Season 2.
