The much awaited sequel, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, will be available on February 4. However, journalists have already had the opportunity to watch the first hours and document their observations. The sequel increased in size, beauty, and detail, so it turned out that the wait was well worth it.

Judging by the press reviews, the second part of Kingdom Come surpasses the original in almost everything:

  • The scale and elaboration of the world. Locations have become larger and their detailing has improved significantly. Players can enjoy picturesque landscapes and unique atmosphere of the Middle Ages.
  • Advanced dialog system. Now NPCs will more often pay attention to such details as traces of blood on the character's clothes or his appearance.
  • Improved combat mechanics. The combat system has been redesigned, and now it is easier to master, and the battles themselves have become more dynamic and exciting.
  • Atmosphere. Special mention should be made of the excellent world development - you can travel through the game expanses just admiring the local beauties.

According to PC Gamer representatives, who have already played about 20 hours, the sequel “offers a real sandbox full of possibilities and interactivity”. The gameplay was very interesting because of its variety and attention to detail, and the story promises to be even deeper and more exciting than in the first part. The Gamer noted that the level of immersion in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages became even higher thanks to the detailed elaboration of the environment and characters.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will be released on February 4, 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
