A mysterious website possibly tied to a Persona 4 remake has been updated, reigniting fan discussions and theories. The site, P4RE.JP, was first noticed last month and bears a striking resemblance to the domain used for Persona 3 Reload — a game that was officially announced only three months after its site was found.

The recent update to P4RE.JP occurred on April 21, though the nature of the modification is unclear. Nonetheless, the update has led fans to believe that something is being prepared, potentially signaling an imminent announcement. According to Insider Gaming, the remake’s internal codename is XRD792.

There is still no confirmation regarding when the Persona 4 remake might be revealed. However, speculation is growing around the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase on June 8 and Summer Games Fest, which starts on June 6.

Talks of remakes for other Persona titles, such as Persona 2, have been circulating for years. This latest online activity has intensified the buzz, bringing renewed hope to fans awaiting a return to the world of Inaba.
