A passionate team of developers continues work on CyberMP, a highly anticipated multiplayer modification for Cyberpunk 2077. In a recent update, the creators significantly improved character, vehicle, and object synchronization, taking a step closer to a functional online experience within Night City.

CyberMP's development began back in 2020. By August 2024, the project had entered its alpha phase, and is currently progressing through its beta stage. The roadmap includes closed and open testing periods, followed by a full public release. The developers aim to offer a stable, immersive multiplayer environment that rivals official implementations.

The project is led by a developer known by the nickname S1nger, who has emphasized the team’s focus on stability and optimization. He confirmed that all development efforts are currently directed toward releasing a public build of CyberMP sometime in 2025.

Currently, around 2,000 supporters back the project via Patreon and Boosty. These contributions fund server maintenance, launcher development, QA testing, and overall infrastructure. Although the mod isn’t publicly available yet, fans can follow progress through the official CyberMP Discord server, where updates and announcements are posted regularly.
